Welcome to a unique holiday in the rehabilitation- and wellness resort Casas Heddy. The resort is located in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote.



We have long traditions in taking care of you as a guest and facilitate our services to make you feel safe and taken care of whilst staying with us. You are the focus of our attention and we will make our utmost for you to have an unforgettable holiday.



The restaurant is located in the main building and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast and lunch a buffet is offered and for dinner buffet style or served dinner, depending on the time of year and occupancy. Do you have a food allergy to take into consideration? Contact us previous to your arrival and we will adapt your food to the specific diet.'



300 m² heated outdoor swimmingpool (28). The swimmingpool is wheelchar adapted and is surrounded by a large terrace with sun lounges, umbrellas and chairs. The pool is equipped with ramp and railings and we have adapted chairs on request.



Our mission is to give you an unforgettable experience for body and soul and for you to travel home with renewed energy.



Our plot of land measures 25.000 m², with adapted walkways and gardens with beautiful trees and plants and garden benches to enjoy a quiet moment. You will also find minigolf, bocchia and a court for horseshoe throwing.



There is free wifi in our common areas.



casas Heddy was founded by Heddy Astrup, born in Oslo in 1904. She dedicated her grown up life to humanitarian work . Her dream was to open a holiday resort adapted for disabled people under the sun in southern Europe. After searching for many years, a plot of land was bought in Lanzarote in 1972. The same plot where Casas Heddy now lies and the resort opened in 1975. Her determination and strong will in collaboration with Oslo Red Cross, made the dream reality and Casas Heddy became a success.



Thanks to her initiative, many thousand Norwegian have enjoyed the kindness and sence of being secure and safe which is the basis of Casas Heddys vision. From 1981, Oslo Red Cross has owned and been running the resort.



The resort has 76 rooms. Most of them are 100% adapted to disabled people, but there are some rooms in the 1st floor which are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.



All our rooms have separate bath with shower, bidet and sink. The room itself consist of bed /s/, desk & chair and armchair. All rooms are equipped with telephone, TV, minifridge and kettle. The rooms have free internet connection (deposit for the cable, which is refunded on departure).
